The shadow thing can be explained. The reaper has some technique that obscures his presence so u can’t tell what he’s doing. Mr. K literally says he’s obscuring his presence. How? Who knows and who cares the point is he’s obscuring his actions and intentions. And when he does it people perceive him as cloaked in shadow, if they used a different visualization like him becoming transparent people would assume invisibility but he’s not invisible u can clearly see someone is there. Or in martial arts in a lot of anime go into being able to read ur opponents moves based on micro actions and subtle movements. The reaper is hiding those micro actions making people feel like they can’t fully grasp his movements as if dealing with a shadow that has no fixed shape
Aaron needs to watch more anime in order to understand what are anime tropes and what isn’t.
