They are supossed to be great fighters but this is an old series with los budget. Cowboy Bebop was around the same time but the budget was larger. Just focus on the story. This isnt an example of great animartion.
the berserk trilogy on Netflix doesn’t get enough credit. they’re actually excellent at portraying the prologue story in only 3 movies while giving an updated animation

Well the animation doesn’t hold up at all but at least the story is good
