We have not heard back from SAG-AFTRA. Ben 10 Alien Force will release as normal Thursday July 27th 2023, as it does not fall under a struck content category. As of this posting Rome is still paused and will not release tomorrow.  

We only saw one question that hasn’t been answered in the last few days posts. If you have a question, please check the previous posts and the answer is likely there. If not, please comment here your question.

Questions:

If content will be paused for an extended period, could we get a poll or a list for possible temporary replacement shows / miniseries / movies to see what content we could be seeing instead?

We have selected some shows and movies to be reacted to help us fill the gap in the short term, which we will be announcing shortly. We are keeping an eye out on Discord, and these posts for suggestions for non-struck content, as well as original content ideas. If the pause becomes a stoppage, we may consider an additional way to keep audience feedback on what you want to see.

The entire team at the studio has been working so hard this week, and we have already begun filming content for the possible new schedule. It will take some time for things to be edited and fit into that schedule, so thank you for your patience as we continue to support the writers and actors on strike in any way we can. 

Hello everyone Rick here! You may have noticed we launched the new website! Good news, it’s pretty cool (huh?)! Bad news, we’ve still got some stuff to work on. We hope you’ll be patient with us as we continue to fix the current issues.

If you notice any other issues, you can post them on the site’s forum, on our Discord #website-feedback, or use the https://blindwave.com/help/ form here. If you are specifically encountering an issue with Patreon, please DM message us on Patreon with a description of your issue.

Once we get these bugs squared away, we’re going to start working on bringing even more new and exciting features to the site.

Here are some of the issue’s we are aware of:

• Some of the older anime reactions do not have a button to take you to the reaction portion of the video. We’re prioritizing getting this fixed as soon as possible.
• Movies do not have a Full Length button to take you to the Full Length straight from the player. You can still search for them and view them that way, but the process will be cleaner soon.
• Movies reactions, and content like Pokemality, Gaming, etc, are hard to browse through. We’re streamlining it.
• Some content is missing. We’re working on getting everything up.
• Recommendations should be limited to 3 votes. It’s possible you may have to revote once we fix this.
• The various Blind Wave Audio Podcasts have not been migrated to the new site.

Hey everyone

As most of you know the Polls for The Monday and Friday slots have been won, with Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Promised Neverland winning. However, with coming back to the studio and trying to resume a normal workflow, we haven’t been able to film the new show reactions quite yet. 

So as far as the plan for when they start, we will be working hard to have two reactions to The Promised Neverland (One YouTube release and one here on Early Access) this coming Friday. Brooklyn Nine-Nine will be starting next week on Monday with the same drop format.

Thanks for your patience and understanding in this strange time as we play catch-up. Over the coming weeks we plan to get more normal content rolling again, Such as Movie Reactions/Commentaries, Mailbag, and more. We wouldn’t be able to do any of this without our Patrons, whose financial support helps us offer free YouTube content worldwide for anyone who feels the need to take up their time with our Shenanigans.

What is Lorem Ipsum?

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Why do we use it?

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).

Where does it come from?

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
