  1. so am i the only one who hears the batman music? the score that is playing when he brings her the lingerie. is in batman returns (and the animated series) just here it is more soft and there are some different beats here and there.

  2. Yes, more James bond movies. We waited over a year for you guys to react to From Russia With Love. After Thunderball, it gets really silly and you will see where the material for Austin Powers came from.

  3. YES! Finally the second movie, I was looking forward tot his so much I reupgraded my subscription because I couldn’t wait another 2 weeks to see it…. if that’s no indication I would like to see more then I don’t know what is!

It’s such a unique franchise in the fact that they have been making these movies for so long and always had to adapt to the latests trends and changes in the world; directing, gadgets, stunts, locations, villains & plots etc etc.
Every franchise will eventually reach a point where they have to reinvent themselves in order to keep things fresh and people interested. Disney knows all about that right now with the latest Star Wars triology debacle and the current Phase 4 of Marvel.
Bond has been through it so many times before, the movies act as brilliant time-capsules showing us what was hot and happening for the last 60 years.

I’m so happy that you all understand and enjoy that these movies are from a completely different era, and gives fun insight in how the action franchise got to be what it is now.
And yes, every franchise has it’s brilliant movies, it’s just plain good ones, and a handfull of horrible ones. Bond is no other.
I really really really hope you will continue this journey through 6 decades worth of perfectly kept time capsules! I just hope you will pick up the speed in which you watch them though….
At the current rate it will take them more then 23 years, and by then probably 4-5 new ones have arrived so if they want to finish Bond before 2046 the really need to watch more then one every year 😀

Love you guys, keep up the great work!

  4. God bless Sylvia Trench. A woman who knew what she wanted, got what she wanted, and didn’t give a flying flip for mid-century, middle-class morals. Beautiful to boot. James Bond movies are so problematic by todays standards…and sometimes even of the day, but just go in to have fun and keep it in perspective. The original Connery films are my favorites.

  5. Also, you should come visit DC and The International Spy Museum. We have James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger. It’s also just a fun museum and great for kids.
