You don’t need a passport to go to Canada, I live just south of the canadian border and I use to drive across the border all the time without a passport.
I didn’t know Lesley-Ann was pregnant when I first watched this episode and noticed nothing. Since finding out, I notice that she leans and sits a lot in this episode. Also, very clever to have her go to Canada in winter so she has to wear bulky clothes. I feel I should point out that not all Canadian hotels have sewing kits – I imagine that’s something you’d have to ask for, depending on the hotel. Finally, there are no bears in PEI, that’s how Chloe knew it was likely Maze.
yeah, i was writing the same thing. I knew it while i was watching the show live, but also in tv shows when an actress is missing for a few episodes it generally means that they are pregnant/had a baby.. unless its written in to the show too 😀

The actress who plays Maze was around 7 months pregnant when filming this. It’s also the reason she wasn’t in the first few episodes.
