I can’t remember if it was in the Cirque Du Freak books or in I Am Legend or something else, but there was one interpretation of vampires that weren’t hurt by crosses, but by whatever religious symbol was related to whatever faith they had in life, so a vampire who wasn’t christian wouldn’t be bothered by a cross or holy water. So in a way they give whatever the object is the power to hurt them, which as I’m typing this out, I realize isn’t too far from how the angels in this show self actualize their wings and powers and stuff. Huh. Neat.

The episode “Hail Lucifer” they were investigating crimes that were human sacrifices to the devil. And it was Malcom that was responsible because he assumed Lucifer would like his work done for him. When he disliked it, he left (another) dead guy in his room which Chloe walked in on Luci with other police. So Rick is right about the Angel being responsible.
