I never thought they’d pull the mental asylum from the Lemire/Smallwood comic run, but holy shit they did it and I love it so damn much. It makes me so happy to see one of my favorite things from Moon Knight comics recreated for the MCU. Plus, Oscar Isaac is just awesome at portraying this character. Of course I am biased with Moon Knight being one of my favorite Marvel characters, but this is by far my favorite Disney+ series and maybe even one of my favorite MCU projects.
The mental hospital scene was soooo well done! Putting aside the idea that all the other patients and orderlys being people that we’ve seen in the show (which is a great way of planting the seed of possibly just being insane) but in real life, your brain is unable to make up faces, so if you see a person in a dream, then you have at the very least passed by that person in real life. So it totally makes sense realistically that all of the people in the hospital are people he’s seen, his brain is filling in the blanks with real people
