I was always wondering how non ninjas move between villages. Horses would be very convenient. I suppose they just hire ninjas that can summon animals? like birds or lizards or smth?

So a few things, first jiraya and tsunade are in their mid 50s, second naruto is still a genin, you thought beating kakashi would make him a chuunin or jonin but no he still needs to pass the chuunin exams to be a chuunin. And lastly the marks on narutos face in universe are just like birth marks, not actually whiskers

if you’re referring to that happening, it didn’t. Naruto went through the ranks. Sorry if you aren’t implying that he went from Genin to Hokage, but I have seen alot of people who have this weird head canon where they believe he just skipped the ranks. The whole reason Kakashi was Hokage in the first place was because he was saving the spot for Naruto once he became a Jonin and learned everything he should beforehand. Otherwise Naruto would have just become Hokage right after the war, but instead it took like 10 years or something
Except that you are wrong. He did go from genin to hokage. He confirms as much in Boruto.

In Episode 479 of Shippuden, this happens -> “Kakashi tells Naruto he would like to appoint him as jōnin, but he needs to study. Iruka, Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon provide him with numerous study materials to help him become a jōnin within two years. Naruto gets exasperated until Konohamaru reminds him there are no shortcuts to becoming Hokage. Kakashi concedes that Naruto is a fine shinobi who picks up things fast, but he also needs some knowledge and that Shikamaru can help him with that. Iruka spends the day teaching him shinobi history.” This episode originally aired on October 13, 2016. The supplementary guidebook, Retsu no Sho, was created exclusively for “The Last: Naruto the Movie” and was authored by Kishimoto. It explicitly states Naruto is a genin during this period. It was released on December 6, 2014, 2 years before episode 479. So yes, the canon is Naruto became Hokage despite being a genin. In my opinion, the anime studio made a smarter decision in handling how Naruto could go up the ranks and gain knowledge. But nope, Kishi had to make what we have now…the canon.

Naruto literally failed the churning exam, and couldn’t maintain the knowledge and stuff for kakashi to promote him to jonin lol. He literally explains he went from genin to hokage basically. And which is why he is really glad to have shikamaru someone who is insanely intelligent as an advisor.
