Surprised none of them came up with changing Eric to Rice when messing around with the names.
That’d be the closest equivalent of Ram messing around with the Barusu nickname.
Ram is being mean to Subaru by calling him Barasu it’a supposed to be a joke of the fact she wish harm upon him because he is useless also in japanese “Baka” means “fool” or “idiot” and it is common in anime to mesh names of stupid characters with the word baka XD
Barasu was stated in the 3rd episode as being a blinding curse since that’s what rearranging letters in someone’s name does to someone.
