I love how the writers get you to think it’s obvious that 001 will pick ‘yes’ right up until he votes ‘no’. Not just the fact that they told you about his inoperable condition, but that the entire setup of the first episode lends the audience to believe we’re going to be at this location for a while. Really clever writing through the first two episodes.
