Thrawn is great in the show but compared to the books he seems nerfed
It’s true, in part because of the difference in how he has to be written in a TV series instead of a novel series and also in part because Tim Zahn isn’t doing the writing. They really need to bring Zahn in to write non-novel Star Wars material, at least where Thrawn is concerned.
Thrawn definitely knows who’s the mole.
