    1. Isn’t it implied that Din’s armor is stronger than Bo’s in 2×3 of the Mandalorian? He’s the only one to tank the blaster fire of the stormtroopers. Why wouldn’t they all have done it if their armor could take it?

  1. I think the difference between the mandalorian armors is that as Saxon said this arc pulse energy is “drawn to the beskar alloy in the mandalorians armor” so these armors have to be mixed with other metals and there is the difference between that and pure beskar of course. On the wookiepedia page it says the structure is Beskar iron, Durasteel, Duraplast, Alum and Stygian-triprismatic polymer (Legends) and for canon reasons it says Beskar Alloy and Durasteel Alloy.

    1. There is no difference between “pure” beskar & beskar alloy in new canon, there has never been any proof of that. Bo-Katan’s stuff takes blaster bolts just as easily as Din’s & is just as sturdy. All beskar is in new canon is a special alloy, which makes sense a something like steel is far tougher & lighter than pure iron, but the impure stuff is not mixed as it “should” be for whatever reason (material shortages, money, forging skill, etc).
