The Belter language is Belter Creole, which is a mash up of various languages from Earth which makes sense considering Belters were just people from Earth that over the span of hundreds of years, spread out across the Solar system, eventually developing their own cultures/languages. One thing this show does well that so many others fail to do well is diversity. It doesn’t feel forced in this show because humanity has spread across the solar system, people from every nation, different cultures, languages all mixed together and left to develop.
