she’s not a vampire. when they were walking down the hall pass a mirror you could see the empress’ reflection but you could not see the emperoe’s reflection. that confirmed it for me: he’s a vamp!
The first two episodes loosely adapted events from the campaign when it was still a home game before the show started. This episode was a more direct adaptation of events from Critical Role, although with changes, both to condense events from long gaming sessions and to include Pike (who missed a lot of the early show due to Ashley Johnson filming Blindspot).

Pike’s god is Sarenrae from Pathfinder. Their campaign started in Pathfinder but they moved on to DND for a few reasons when they started to stream the game and since they don’t have the rights for Pathfinder they simply refer to her as the “Everlight” which is a different name for Sarenrae! Hope that helps!
Look in the mirror when Delilah and Sylas are walking down the hallway to their rooms. Should answer any lingering questions about who is a vampire and who is not.
Cool little detail: When the Briarwoods are walking to their chambers, only Delilah has a reflection!
