I’ve always enjoyed this film. I remember reruns of the TV series being on when I was a kid so knew the key conceits going in, but thought this was a great version. I’m not sure why it didn’t do well at the time. Maybe people were resistant to see such a classic show with different people. I’d have loved another but there’s no chance of that now due to the allegations against Armie Hammer. The cannibalism captured the public, but he’s accused of some pretty disturbing behaviour. On the plus, Cavill has a new spy film coming this year called Argylle, based on a forthcoming book, which sounds great.
I am so so so happy they reacted to this. Its one of my fav spy films, different and really fun. I actually signed up for the £15 patreon just so I could watch the uncut reaction! I understand reacting to popular films and I love those but I do hope they react to some slightly less popular films. Im not sure what they have watched before but I would love Big Short, Spotlight, Old film but classic like Oceans 11 (which I get vibes of from this film).

so they didnt pick up on the bi subtext with solo………..honestly i dont know if i would have if it wasnt pointed out to me before watching the film
I’ve read about that, and it sounds like a stretch. This is pretty much a bromance, two men developing a tight friendship.
Nowadays (the last decade) people just try to interpret any kind of relationship as something sexual.
