Oleg was betrayed by everyone. You mentioned it last episode about those nobles having weird looks, they were the people who joined Dir earlier in this episode. Oleg could do nothing, he had no support and was going to die regardless so pleading for his life was his only way. I was satisfied with both his and Gunnhild’s ends, it just was unexpected because it was in a way a happy ending for the characters we root for. That one shot in Greenland was amazing too.

“I hate Kettil but I love Edge!” You and me both, Eric. You and me both.
